So… something interesting is brewing at the ol’ day job.
We let go of our sales team.
Instead of sales calls, we’re switching to an entirely email-driven sales process.
Apparently this is something we did before the sales team was brought on.
It’s a proven model, just requires some time to set up.
This week I’m in the process of adjusting all our email sequences to reflect the change (and improving the emails while I’m in there).
I’m guessing the changeroo workload’ll extend into next week too, because we have approximately 9 bajillion email sequences.
But it’s cool to see this taking shape!
Anyway, so one of the things we’re layering into our sequences now is what we call conversation starters.
They’re based on the 9-word email, but a little softer.
(Don’t know the 9-word email? Go look it up. Get the Dean Jackson version, since he’s the one who coined it.)
I have used the 9-word email in my own business since I came across it back in I think 2014, and it’s great.
Sometimes I use a variation on y’all, too 😇
Actually, the Gainer email is a variation on the 9-word email, or at least on the concept.
Because the Gainer email is a bit longer than 9 words, heh.
Anyway, I’ve taken out one of the previous emails in the 3 Magic Emails template pack and put in the new conversation starter.
